According to Al Arabiya, a businessman from Saudi Arabia has sold a goat for an incredible price of $3 million. The details of this unprecedented deal appeared in news reports on September 9, 2013, Monday.

Another local media source, Okaz newspaper, reported that the sale of the animal for 13 million Saudi riyals ($3.46 million) caused a quite a stir.

The photo of the ‘golden’ goat and the copy of the cheque for $3million that sealed the deal can be seen above.

Experts interested in goat trading said the animal had unique features and is a rare breed, according to the report.
