The controversial suspension of Governor Rochas Okorocha from All
Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, few days after the embattled
Chairman, Victor Umeh reconciled with Governor Peter Obi of Anambra
State is still generation a lot of dust.
APGA, a party that has consistently failed to live up to expectations, refused to merge with the APC due to flimsy excuse, NaijaInfo
observed. And Governor Okorocha decided to pitch his tent with the new
party, giving its promising potentials. This has earned him a suspension
 from APGA.
Reacting to his suspension, Governor Okorocha said:
The people of the state should just go about their
normal duties as APGA is not serious. He described the action of Victor
Umeh and others as "irrelevant".
A statement by his Media Assistant, Mr Chinedu Offor on Sunday further
disaclosed that, “The governor is currently in the U.S. for a town hall
meeting, organised by Imo indigenes at Atlanta, Georgia,” where they are
discussing matters that will impact positively on the lives of Imo
indigenes.
