Man commits suicide so that wife and boyfriend can have more sex

A 24-year-old Mutasa man reportedly committed suicide so that his wife and her boyfriend can enjoy themselves and have more sex, it is alleged.

Police confirmed the incident which happened in Matengambiri Village. Assistant Manicaland provincial police spokesman, Assistant Inspector Luxson Chananda, said David Chadambuka (24) approached his wife's alleged boyfriend, Martin Matsunge and accused him of having a sexual relationship with his wife.

However Martin is said to have denied the allegations. Chadambuka told him that he was contemplating committing suicide because of the issue. He went towards a nearby mountain.

Martin sensing danger, alerted other villagers who followed him to the mountain. They were, however, too late as they found his lifeless body hanging from a tree branch.

Asst Insp Chananda urged people to seek professional counseling from elders or the ZRP community liason department whenever they face social problems to avoid unnecessary loss of lives.
