DJ Switch wins Glo X Factor!! Takes home 24 million Naira

Winner of the Glo X Factor singing reality show, DJ Switch (middle) flanked by Globacom’s Group Executive Director, Mrs Bella Disu (2nd right), 2nd runner-up in the show, Vicky (1st right), Glo ambassador, Chee the Voice (2nd left), and Sony Music Marketing Director, Spiro Damaskinos.

Before the announcement of the results, the expectation of audience, judges and contestants alike had built to a crescendo as everybody waited anxiously to find out who the first X Factor winner in Africa
would be.

The suspense was to last even longer as Glo ambassador from Ghana, Efya, came on stage for a wonderful performance that had the audience applauding rapturously. After her performance, X Factor host, Toolz, turned to the judges and sought to know how they felt about the night.

Reggie answered first, “I’m so excited that I brought my wife with me so we can both be excited together. It’s been a beautiful journey; I can’t wait to see who will walk away with the money.”

According to MI, “It’s been incredible. The crew, my fellow judges and the contestants have all been wonderful.”

Toolz asked Onyeka, “Who do you think will be the winner tonight?”
Onyeka answered with a smile, “I was so excited, I brought my Bible along with me. At this stage, I think the last three contestants have all won.”

Shortly afterwards, 2008 UK X Factor winner, delectable Alexandra Burke, got the hall on its feet with a resounding applause for a great performance of her hit track, Halleluyah. She was later joined on stage
by the three finalists, DJ Switch, Eshun and Vicky as they all spectacularly chorused the song together.

“Shake” and “Ada Ada” crooner, Flavour, came onstage next to thrill guests with a scintillating performance. He proved why he was a crowd favourite as the audience rose to their feet to dance along with him. After Flavour’s performance, the contestants came out to sing the songs they sang at the audition stage.

Vicky led the performances, and she got a standing ovation from the three judges. “How did your daughter perform?” Toolz inquired of Onyeka. “She has grown from a pupa to a butterfly. She sang with confidence and inner joy. I had goose pimples just listening to her. I have no doubt that she’ll make it. May God bless you.”

Reggie added, “You just proved to us that our work has not been in vain,” while MI said, “Wow, Vicky is just so amazing. You are absolutely stunning. The way you’re radiating joy; don’t keep it to yourself, please, share it with the world.”

DJ Switch came up next, garbed in a tight black trouser with black top to match. Her entry engendered a boisterous response from the crowd with her performance of Jay Z’s “Forever Young,” which was heavily
spiced up with raps. In a mild drama, the contestant switched over backwards, precariously clutching the mic as she raps. Her stagecraft even drew a wider applause when she stepped down the stage to hug her mother, while still singing without losing concentration.

Reacting to her performance, MI said, “Switch, people scream when you perform because you inspire us all. When you came for the audition, I felt you tried. I had already made up my mind that you wouldn’t make
it to my final three mentees, but you changed my mind. Everybody here needs to know that no matter what people say about you, it doesn’t matter as long as you fight.” he concluded. Reggie gushed, “DJ Switch, you are inspirational; you excite me. My children love you; everybody loves you!” As for Onyeka, she opined, “Unlike the other judges, the moment you stepped on stage, I knew you had it.”

When asked why she should win the X Factor, Switch simply said: “I work hard; I pray hard.”

Eshun was the next to perform, and she pulled out all the stops as she shimmered in her green attire. “One of the best things on this program is that I got to mentor Vicky and Eshun. She is exquisite, beautiful, gorgeous and talented. She walks onto the stage and lights it up. You have something that is very special. No matter what happens here, youhave me permanently in your camp. You will take the world by storm!” Onyeka declared.

6 Types Of Sleeping Position How It Determines Your Personality!!!

Different people sleep differently. But does your sleeping position convey something about your true self? Psychologists say that when you sleep, your unconscious mind takes over and there is nothing which can restrict your body and its movements. So, your sleeping position can give others a glimpse into your personality. Let us have a look at some common sleeping positions and what they say about you.
1. The foetal position
Position: Curled up on your side.
Personality: Foetal sleepers are an anxious lot. They tend to overanalyse everything and are great ‘worriers’. Surprisingly, research says that the foetal position is the most common sleeping position. This position is very soothing and comforting and you tend to sleep like this when you are undergoing a lot of stress. Every person at some point of his or her life has slept in this position.
2. The leaper
Position: Sideways with one of your legs in a straight line and the other raised.
Personality: These people are very fussy and want everything to go their way. They tend to be very complaining and never make an effort to adjust to new situations. Leapers are also a nervous lot and they tend to think for ages before taking the ‘leap’, but once their decision is made, they tend to stick to it no matter what.
3. The freefaller
Position: It is considered to be a very uncomfortable position: here the person lies flat on his tummy with both the arms and legs outstretched.
Personality: The freefallers are quite self-centered and stubborn. Their sleep is quite turbulent and these people like to be in control of everything. Constantly on the run, these people are over sensitive and don’t take criticism well.
4. The star sleeper
Position: Sleeping on your back with both arms and legs stretched outwards, occupying most of the bed.
Personality: They are considered to be good listeners and make really good friends. Such people love their comfort and are free spirited and carefree. The star sleepers always like to be in the background and don’t like drawing too much attention.
5. The log
Position: It is considered to be the second most common sleeping position. The sleeper in this position keeps their body stretched out in a straight line.
Personality: This position is most commonly associated with those who are easy going and like good company. They easily trust people to the point of being very gullible.
6. Covered from head to toe
Position: Covered from head to top while sleeping.
Personality: If you like your razai or blanket to cover your body from top to bottom, then you are a person who always tries to put on a brave facade even though you are going through troubled times. Such sleepers keep mum about their problems instead of asking for help. The blanket acts like a shield between them and the rest of the world. Such people are usually shy and tend to have a lot of secrets buried in their hearts.

REVEALED: SEE Where South South Politicians Go To Acquire Power & Fame

It has been reported that most politicians especially those from the South-South region use diabolical means to get into power and they get this power from a shrine in Cameroon.

Well according to reports from Nigeriafilms.com:

It has been revealed that most South South politicians have formed an habit of applying diabolical method to get power. Recently, a check was made and it was discovered that virtually all of them, in one way or the other, have come to this shrine in the Republic of Cameroon for power. In fact, it has now become an attraction for many politicians from the South South Geopolitical Zone.

This particular shrine, as we learnt, where these politicians visit for spiritual powers is situated on a hill top, somewhere very close to Danere, a border village between the Republic of Cameroon and Nigeria, near the Bakassi Peninsular.

The shrine is clustered and controlled by a bread of native doctors who are acclaimed to be able to change political fortunes. The shrine is called “Kapeng” cult and highly dreaded by a lot of people living around the area.

Findings revealed that that most politicians from the states of the South South on the pretext of being in vacation to visit some tourists’ sites in Cross River State, actually come for a different mission all together.

Obeten Kekong, who is one of the custodians of “Kapeng” cult revealed to a magazine company, City People, recently that they have in last few months witnessed influx of politicians, mostly from states where elections were conducted.

These set of politicians always visit the shrine between 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. daily after sacrifices to enable them scale through the elections. The politicians believe that once they are initiated into the Kapen” cult their future political ambition world be achieved.

Gunmen attack Kenyan shopping centre leaving at least 15 people dead (PHOTOS)

At least 15 people have been killed in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, after gunmen opened fire and threw grenades in an expensive shopping centre.

Witnesses said the gunmen told Muslims to leave and shot those they believed were non-Muslim.

Abbas Guled, the secretary general of the Kenya Red Cross Society, said: "I would say so far we have at least 15 dead. The casualties are many, and that's only what we have on the outside. Inside there are even more casualties and shooting is still going on."

The Nairobi police chief, Benson Kibue, said officers were engaged in a shootout with the attackers. He initially said the men had been trying to rob a shop within the centre but later described the incident as a terrorist attack.

Elijah Kamau told the Associated Press the gunmen made the statement about Muslims as they began their attack at the Westgate shopping centre.

Armed police arrived nearly half an hour after the attacks began and engaged the gunmen in a shootout. Officers shouted: "Get out, get out", and scores of shoppers fled the building. At least half a dozen were bloodied and helped by first-aiders.

Security guards used shopping trollies to wheel out several wounded children and at least one man.

Rob Vandijk, who works at the Dutch embassy, said he was eating at a restaurant in the shopping centre when attackers lobbed grenades inside the building. He said gunfire then burst out and people screamed as they dropped to the ground.

A former British soldier told reporters: "I personally touched the eyes of four people and they were dead. One of them was a child. It's carnage up there."

Cars were left abandoned outside the centre after the attack started around midday on Saturday.

Other witnesses said they had seen about five armed assailants storm the Westgate shopping centre and that the incident appeared to be an attack rather than an armed robbery.

"They don't seem like thugs. This is not a robbery incident," Yukeh Mannasseh told Reuters. "It seems like an attack. The guards who saw them said they were shooting indiscriminately."

The Somalian rebel group al-Shabab vowed in 2011 to carry out a large-scale attack in Nairobi in retaliation for Kenya sending troops into Somalia to fight them.

The centre is situated in Nairobi's affluent Westlands area and is frequented by expatriates and rich Kenyans.
