They Asked Me To Strip As Part Of The Audition Process ––Female Singer

“I have faced a lot in the music industry just to make a name for myself; I thank God that it is finally paying off. It is my dream; I have a passion for it so I endured. I have been to a place where they asked me to take off my dress to see how my skin really looks. It was some sort of interview or process I had to go through before I could perform on stage for a gig. I have been bullied, ignored; starting wasn’t easy.
"I am used to it. I just shot my video for my song, ‘Mo fi di lu’, the video will be coming out soon. Now, anything people do, I just smile and let it go because I have seen it all.”

The name Helenite may not ring a bell yet, but the songstress may rise fast in the music industry.

Snake With A Foot Found In China (PICTURED)

Dean Qiongxiu, 66, said she discovered the reptile clinging to the wall of her bedroom with its talons in the middle of the night. "I woke up and heard a strange scratching sound. I turned on the light and saw this monster working its way along the wall using his claw," said Mrs Duan of Suining, southwest China.

Mrs Duan said she was so scared she grabbed a shoe and beat the snake to death before preserving its body in a bottle of alcohol.

The snake – 16 inches long and the thickness of a little finger – is now being studied at the Life Sciences Department at China's West Normal University in Nanchang.

Snake expert Long Shuai said: "It is truly shocking but we won't know the cause until we've conducted an autopsy."
A more common mutation among snakes is the growth of a second head, which occurs in a similar way to the formation of Siamese twins in humans.

Such animals are often caught and preserved as lucky tokens but have very little chance of surviving in the wild anyway, especially as the heads have a tendency to attack each other.

Why I don’t have mercy for policemen – Robbery suspect

A wanted robbery suspect, Abiodun Ogunjobi, aka Abbey Godogodo, who was said to have been terrorising the South-West for some time, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command.

According to police authorities, the suspect led the gang that killed seven people, including the owner of 04 Hotel, Ajah, Lagos, Olanrewaju Subair, on July 7, 2013.

They also killed two other security guards at a popular hotel along Apapa Road, Ebute Meta area of the state on the same day.

The suspect, who was paraded on Thursday, told PUNCH Metro that he killed many policemen, adding that he had been into robbery for over 10 years and had built houses.

Ogunjobi said, “I started robbery in 1996 but in 1999, I was charged for fighting. I spent about seven years in prison. My prolonged stay in prison for minor crime of fighting hardened me and I vowed to pay back the police for that injustice. After I was released, I went to Katangowa in Iyana-Ipaja area of Lagos to meet my friend, Odun.

“Odun was an armed robber, so, we started operating together. We worked with several gangs and I invested lots of my money in arms buying. I also built five houses in Ifo, Ilaro, Ikorodu and Ibadan. I usually kill policemen and take their rifles because policemen have killed several of my boys and taken most of my rifles from them.

“I have no regrets for all I have done. I have no advice for young people, who want to become armed robbers like me. I have three children from three women. The police should take all my properties.”

PUNCH Metro learnt that the 36-year-old suspect was arrested by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad at his home in the Egbeda area of Ibadan, Oyo State, after he had been monitored for three weeks.

Policemen attached to SARS, said the suspect narrowly escaped arrest on July 14, 2013 when he and members of his gang engaged SARS operatives in a shoot-out along Eko Bridge, Lagos Island, after they killed two policemen at Ebute-Ero and Ajao Estate respectively.

According to police authorities, the suspect had been evading arrest because he hardly used the same gang members twice.

A police source said, “He is the most notorious armed robber we have had in the South-West in the past 14 years.

“We arrested him 11am on Thursday at his mansion at the Olowu area of Egbeda LGA Ibadan Oyo State and recovered two AK47 rifles and 10 loaded AK47 magazines in his house.

“Godogodo has killed many policemen and civilians. His most recent activity was at Ajah, where he killed the owner of 04 Hotel and eight others, including two policemen few weeks ago. He has also led several bank robberies in Kwara, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti and Oyo states.”

The Commissioner of Police, Umar Manko, described the suspect as a notorious criminal, who had been on the radar of the police for some time.

He said the suspect would be given medical treatment and charged to court.

WONDER: Doctor claims pregnant 15-year-old teen is still a virgin

A court in Dubai was told that a pregnant teen was still a vī́rgin, according to court proceedings.

That was the diagnosis of a doctor in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, presented at the trial of a 15-year-old teen girl, who was accused of violating the country's harsh Islamic law against sēx outside marriage.

The girl, identified only by her initials MM, was checked out and has since given birth to a girl, the local newspaper reported. Testifying against the doctor's report, MM told prosecutors that she had sēx with her 17-year-old boyfriend, identified by the initials YA, on several occasions.

"I met him through the internet and fell in love with him," the girl said. "We have had many dates in my family's house in Oud Mutaina, Dubai, and had sēx in my bedroom after my parents fell asleep. He had full sēx with me three times and when I told him I was pregnant, he didn’t care."

The boy, meanwhile, insists that the two were not sēxually active, according to a local newspaper.
"I did not make her lose her vī́rginity and did not make her pregnant," he told the newspaper. "After a while we broke up. I was surprised when her family was at my house and told me that I made her pregnant."

The boy said that MM was seeing other guys throughout their relationship and demanded a paternity test.
But he admitted to touching the girl, according to a newspaper. The report suggests that girl may have become pregnant from semen dripping into the womb which is highly unlikely to have occurred.

The two teenagers have been subjected to judicial oversight.

Husband Flees After Wife Delivers Triplets (LOOK)

A 40-year-old farmer, Biodun Akapo, a resident of Afojupa Village,a suburb of Owode-Egba Town of Ogun State, is on the run because his wife bore triplets.

The mother delivered the babies on July 24 at Ore-Ofe Maternity Home in the town. She was only able to pay the hospital bill with the intervention of the traditional ruler of the town, Kolawole Sowemimo.

The father of the babies, who was not available as at the time of the delivery, absconded when news filtered to him about the delivery. He is yet to appear as at the time of this report.

Narrating the story, the 30-year-old house wife, Bose Akapo, who already has two children aged 5 and 8, said her husband was not at home when labour commenced. She explained that she was assisted to the hospital on a motorcycle by a neighbour.

She said she never envisaged that there were three babies in her womb.

"I was taken to hospital on a motorcycle by a neighbour when I started noticing signs of delivery, because my husband was not at home then. But surprisingly, I gave birth to triplets and when the news got to my husband he failed to show up till date," she said.

The mother said she had to contact the traditional ruler of Owode-Egba, who rendered assistance in providing clothing and other medical materials for the babies.

She lamented that her husband, on hearing the news about the delivery of the triplets, absconded and has since remained incommunicado.

The housewife, an Ibadan indigene like her husband, said they have been living together as a happy couple in the village for over ten years. She pleaded with her husband to return home.

"I don't even know his whereabout till now, but am begging him to come home for the sake of these innocent babies," Mrs. Akapo said.

She also used the opportunity to appeal to government, individuals, and groups to come to the family's aid for the welfare of the kids, just as she sought for employment to alleviate the family's financial plight.

The woman and the triplets are in stable health condition and have been discharged from hospital.

Speaking on the development, the traditional ruler thanked God for the safe delivery, and also called for assistance from government and other Nigerians for the upkeep of the kids.

Mr. Sowemimo expressed optimism that the state government would attend to the needs of the family based on the administration's known concern to the welfare of the citizens and residents.

W.O.N.D.E.R: Kenyan Lawyer Sues Israel For Killing Jesus

The state of Israel is being sued by a Kenyan lawyer in the International Criminal Court of Justice (ICJ) for the “trial and crucifixion of Jesus Christ,” which the lawyer claims was “unlawful,” according to regional media reports.

Kenyan lawyer Dola Indidis says that Israel and the Jewish people should be held legally liable for Jesus’s death, according to the Jerusalem Post.
Indidis, who has taken his case the ICJ in The Hague, is also suing Tiberius, the emperor of Rome in 42 BCE, “Pontius Pilate, a selection of Jewish elders, King Herod, the Republic of Italy, and the State of Israel,” according to the Post.

Indidis is using the Bible as his primary piece of evidence against Israel.

“Evidence today is on record in the Bible, and you cannot discredit the Bible,” Indidis was quoted as saying by the Kenyan Citizen News.

Indidis further “insists that the government for whom they acted can and should still be held responsible,” the Post reported.

Indidis, who reportedly is a former spokesman of the Kenyan Judiciary, insists that he has a “duty to uphold the dignity of Jesus.”

“I filed the case because it’s my duty to uphold the dignity of Jesus and I have gone to the ICJ to seek justice for the man from Nazareth,” Indidis was quoted as saying. “His selective and malicious prosecution violated his human rights through judicial misconduct, abuse of office bias and prejudice.”

Indidis further maintains that Jesus was not given a proper say during his trial and that his resulting punishment was unfairly carried out.

“I am suing as a friend [of Jesus],” he was quoted as saying.

When asked about the case, an ICJ official is reported to have said, “It is not even theoretically possible for us to consider this case,” according to the Post.

Beyonce And Jay Z Called Demons During Concert (PHOTO)

D.C.-area activist Rocky Twyman had one message for the thousands of people he encountered July 29 in front of the verizon center including Mrs Obama and other concert goers that Beyonce and Jay Z were possessed by demons.

Founder of the Pray at the Pump movement, a group that held prayer vigils at local gas stations praying that prices would drop.

He is a regular fixture in front of the White House and on Capitol Hill, where he has held dozens of vigils to protest everything from the fight between President Obama and Congress to Black unemployment.

Twyman said he decided to hold the protests at the White House and Verizon Center because of the urgency of his message.

“We believe that this couple is virtually destroying our youth. If you go on the Internet, you’ll see stories about how they’re both part of the Illuminati and you can see Jay-Z’s use of the Satanic triangle symbol when he performs.”

“Jay-Z even declared himself to be God by referring to himself as Jehovah, and we don’t think that this is the image that our young people need to be glorifying.”

Tyman hopes his movement will catch on with protests in every city on the rest of Beyonce’s tour.
